Dr. Cynthia El Kik is a consultant with 12 years of well-established career in the field of Anesthesia. Dr. El Kik has vast experience working with adult and pediatric patients. Dr. El Kik has completed her residency program in Beirut in St Georges hospital affiliated with Balamand University and pursued her education in Anesthesia at one of the most renowned University hospitals in Brussels, Universite Libre de Bruxelles. Dr. El Kik completed her training at two of the largest hospitals - Erasme hospital and Queen Fabiola children’s University Hospital.
During her two years in Belgium, Dr. El Kik acquired experience in pediatric and regional anesthesia, successfully performing over 3000 regional nerve blocks and more than 10000 epidural/ spinal techniques. Dr. El Kik has performed all types of anesthesia for all age groups needing general, regional, or obstetrical, and monitored anesthesia care pre-and post-surgeries. Dr. El Kik performed anesthesia on complicated neurosurgery cases for adult and pediatric patients and has worked with robotic surgeries under general anesthesia.
Dr. Cynthia El Kik has attended to patients with routine and emergency cases and continues to receive positive feedback for having excellent sociable skills with patients, especially in sensitive situations, and for having the ability to make accurate and immediate decisions in stressful situations.
