Dr. Rami Mohammed Shaath completed his secondary education at Riyadh Schools and ranked first in the kingdom in intermediate and secondary levels. He was honored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, may he rest in peace.
He then pursued his preparatory studies in basic sciences at the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received the Honor Medal for Scientific Excellence from the Dean.
Dr. Rami also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain and represented the graduating students in delivering the graduation speech.
He then completed the American Board Fellowship Program in Internal Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and subsequently worked at several American hospitals.
Dr. Rami joined several training programs in gastrointestinal endoscopy in several countries.
Dr. Rami worked as a consultant in internal medicine and gastroenterology at several hospitals in the Kingdom, such as King Fahd Medical City, then Dr. Rami worked as a consultant in internal medicine and gastroenterology at several hospitals in the Kingdom, such as King Fahd Medical City, then Al-Habib Hospital, where he chaired the Endoscopy and Gastrointestinal Department for more than ten years. During this time, Dr. Rami introduced several pioneering techniques to the private sector in the Kingdom and organized several scientific conferences. He also appeared on several important television programs.
