Brief Profile

Dr. Badr Alhumayyd is a consultant gastroenterologist/hepatologist , and has a special interest in fatty liver disease . 

Dr. Alhumayyd finished a master’s degree in clinical research from the University of California, San Diego and completed his training in internal medicine in Canada. He then proceeded to complete his adult gastroenterology and transplant Hepatology fellowship in the USA before joining the King Saud university and King Khalid university hospital /medical center as an assistant professor.

• Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic Ultrasounds (EUS) Fellowship, Western University, Canada
