Brief Profile

Dr. Bassem is a consultant pediatrician and pediatric pulmonologist. He graduatedfrom King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah then completed his medical training in the United States of America. He did his residency in pediatrics at theChildren’s National Medical Center and George Washington University then he did his fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Heobtained his American Boards in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology before returning to the Kingdom. He worked as an assistant professor and consultant in multiple governmental and private institutions in the country and currently works as an adjunct assistant professor at Alfaisal University and consultant pediatric pulmonologist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & ResearchCenter in Riyadh.

Dr.Bassem has extensive experience in evaluating the symptoms and diseases of respiratory system in children and in nasopharyngoscopy and bronchoscopy. Hesees patients from birth until 18 years of age including general pediatric conditions.
