Dr. Esraa Medhat is a senior pediatric specialist with a good experience in providing medical care to children from infancy to adolescence , Experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions.
As a lactational consultant
· Assisted mother dealing with lactation related problems due to cesarean deliveries, NICU admission, mastitis, breast engorgement and low milk supply.
· Provide advice on breastfeeding techniques to ensure successful lactation and infant care.
· Developed and implemented lactation education programs for expecting and new mothers.
· Assisted with the development of breastfeeding protocols for use within the hospital setting.
· Developed curriculum and materials for breastfeeding education sessions for medical care providers and new parents.
· Provide individual and group lactation support services, including prenatal lactation education and in hospital lactation visits with ongoing support to mother in the breastfeeding process.
As a pediatric specialist
· Provide medical care and treatment for children with acute, chronic health issues and development concerns.
· Plan and implement medical care programs for physical and mental growth of children.
· Administer vaccinations to prevent illnesses and diseases in infants and children.
