Dr. Mahmoud Alam Eddine is a certified Anesthesia consultant with 18 years of experience. He obtained his degree from the American University of Beirut in 2005. Dr. Alam Eddine has published many articles in internationally recognized journals, including the Middle East Journal of Anesthesiology, Canadian Journal of Anesthesia, and Anesthesia Analgesia. Dr. Alam Eddine has long experience caring for overweight patients, pediatric anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia, and critical care anesthesia.
Dr. Alam Eddine was the head of the Anesthesia Department at Lebanon Heart Hospital (Cardiothoracic and Vascular) for five years, where he conducted over 2,500 open heart surgery. In addition to anesthesia, Dr. Alam Eddine is specialized in pain management and has performed thousands of epidurals and blocks for surgery, delivery, and pain relief procedures. Dr. Mahmoud Alam Eddine has worked at university hospitals such as Rafic Hariri Hospital, where he was responsible for educating and training new anaesthesiologists.
During the 2019 COVID crisis, Dr. Mahmoud Alameddine covered the ICU COVID center and aided in caring for critical patients and life-threatening conditions.
Dr. Mahmoud Alam Eddine is a member of the Lebanese Society of Anesthesia, a member of the Lebanese Order of Physicians, and served as the board member of Elmenieh Governmental Hospital from 2015 – 2021.
