Dr. Marc Nahas is a Family Medicine Consultant, his medical training focused on preventative medicine, general pediatrics, and adolecents, geriatrics, and routine health screening and travel medicine. Dr. Nahas is also specialized in treating common diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hypothyroidism to name the least.
Dr. Nahas started his career in Lebanon as an instructor of Family Medicine at St. George Hospital University Medical Center where he was closely involved with teaching both residents and medical students. Dr. Nahas was the primary care physician for all UNFIL soldiers who needed admission to the hospital for varying reasons ranging from trauma to rhabdomyolysis to myocardial infraction. His work also included occupational health assessments.
Dr. Nahas is an international member of the American Association of Family Physicians and has contributed to research in his field.
