Brief Profile:

Dr. Thamer A. Nouh is a SCFHS-classified Consultant in General Surgery and Critical Care Medicine with 13+ years of experience in broad-based senior leadership, quality and development, consulting, critical care medicine, acute care, trauma care, surgery, and other medical support services across the healthcare sector. He established the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery unit at King Saud University as a first of its kind in KSA. He held prominent positions during his career journey; such as the Head of the Case Management unit In King Saud Medical City, National Trauma Lead in MOH-VRO, Director of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship Program from KSU, Deputy MD for Acute and Support Services from King Khalid University Hospital, and Director of the Cluster Development Department from Health Holding Company. He completed his residency in Geneal Surgery from King Khalid University Hospital, and Fellowship in Critical Care and Trauma from McGill University. Dr. Thamer also obtained his MBA in International Healthcare Management from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He also recently fulfilled Misk 2030 Leadership Program from Esade University. Dr. Thamer is a fellow in the American College of Surgery (FACS) and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), an instructor in ATLS under the American College of Surgeons, an active member in the SCFHS as well as in the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
