Brief Profile
Lubna Al-Ansary, a Professor at King Saud University, is a seasoned family physician with expertise in chronic illness, geriatric medicine, and women's health. Over 30 years, she has contributed significantly to evidence-based healthcare, clinical practice guidelines and knowledge translation. Beyond academia and patient care, she served in Saudi Arabia's Consultative(Shura) Council, breaking ground as one of the first women MPs. Additionally, she made history as the first Arab woman to hold the position of assistant director general for health metrics and measurement at the World HealthOrganization in Geneva.
