Brief Profile
Professor Fadia AlBuhairan is a pediatrician and adolescent medicine subspecialist and Professor at Alfaisal University, with more than 25 years of experience.
She is a pioneer of adolescent medicine in the Middle East and was the first to establish clinical services, research programs, and education in this field in the region. She has held multiple leadership positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, both within Saudi Arabia and globally. She is currently the Vice President for the International Association for Adolescent Health and is a strategic advisor to the World Health Organization for matters related to maternal, newborn, child, adolescent health, and nutrition. She is often sought after for her expertise and holistic approach to health and healthcare both within the country and globally.
