The Neonatal Care Department at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital Riyadh has initiated an awareness session on “kangaroo care,” a method involving direct skin-to-skin contact between the newborn and the parents. This approach offers numerous benefits, including improved weight gain, stabilized vital signs, pain relief, better sleep, reduced crying, enhanced breastfeeding capabilities, and improved communication between parents and their newborn.
